We recommend that if you are storing garments that a breathable fabric is best as this will allow air to flow through ensuring that no moisture is trapped inside the garment cover. This is especially true for storing garments made from suede and leather.
If you want protection from getting wet then a non-breathable material would be better The breathable fabric we use will give some protection but due to the nature of the material it will not be as water repellent as cover made from a Peva recyclable plastic or nylon.

I bought these garment covers for my bridesmaids for their dresses. They are long enough to accomodate the long Ghost dresses and are beautiful quality too. They are thick, breathable and exactly as needed.

I chose floor length gowns for my 4 bridesmaids but they didn't come with a cover and was concerned about transporting between alterations and the venue on the day. I therefore ordered these and am very impressed with the quality and design. It feels well made and has the helpful clear plastic sleeve so I can label them and ensure each bridesmaid knows whose is whose. The length is perfect to keep any floor length dress clean.
